“Here I am, O God, to do your will”

Mary has been our model of placing our lives at the total service of our God. We can seek to follow the way of the Lord in prayer, fasting and almsgiving. We can study the scripture and pray the rosary. We can put in time as volunteers for various worthy causes. But, the bottom line is always – to do God’s will.

Lord, help me to ease up on my plans. Free me to clear my mind of my choices and to be open to your call. Give me strength to risk when I don’t have all the answers.
