We are surrounded everyday by sounds – music, television, cars, and planes – noise! We are bombarded daily by electronic devices that connect us to one another. Voice mail and e-mail have become so common that we hardly have real conversations with one another.

Our Lord knows each of us and calls us by name, but will we know his voice? Do we take the time to listen so that we can follow him? Sometimes we need to listen to the quiet and there we will find the voice that will lead us.
